To each his own. I don't own any console so I'm ok with spending money on this. It's just like buying the PSP game which costs around there or more but I get to play it on a larger screen.

I suppose it's for a niche market. Many hardcore rpg fans will probably buy it if the sales of Spectral souls is any indication.

They can get 20 bucks from me if they release a mecha action game. I am such a sucker for those. :( Like Virtual-On clone or something. :(

Different strokes. I have Skyrim on pc too anyway. But JRPG appeal more to me than western ones. Actually I prefer dragon age since elder scroll series take up too much time to play.

I bought it. Well it's pretty much the same quality as Spectral Souls. I haven't really played it yet.

I bought the Japanese version, so can't say if it's the same as the English one but there is one thing better than Spectral Souls, most if not all the dialogue is completely voiced. I guess that's why the game files are so much larger coz got a lot more voice acting now. Which is awesome for me. Not sure about the English one, but perhaps they use American voices. Or maybe the Japanese voices with english text.

your japanese version one got option for japanese voices but english text? :)

Unfortunately it's solely catered for the Japanese market. So no english text :(

Not sure if the english version can change audio language or not.

Anyway you need market enabler and the older 2.3.x market apk to access paid apps meant for the Japanese market. The 3.3.12 market just sucks.
