Hi, could you try disable Google backup service? Go into your settings, Tap Backup & reset. Uncheck Back up my data to back up any account data, Wi-Fi passwords, and other settings to Google servers. Try this and see if you see an improvement.

already turned everything off. it still seems to use my data. but when i connect to wifi, is doesnt use.

Hi, do you happen to have Samsung Pay updated? I recommend updating your apps including Samsung applications.

Did everything you said. Still consuming data, about 40 mb for yesterday. Probably gonna reset to factory settings soon.

Not sure if this will help... can try installing a firewall, block suspected apps from using mobile data, am using it for privacy.

Thanks bro. I solved it yesterday, using similar methods. I install network log to see what was eating my data and it was bunch of Google stuffs that cannot be off. So I used firewall to blocked it. Problem solved

my samsung phones always on sync all the time, but even so, 20-40mb of mobile data daily is too much imho :o

most android ppl use google to sync mainly their contacts and calendar.

i also use keep and photos, but google photos must make sure it only uploads during wifi, and in reduced resolution also.

the whatsapp chat backup i also set to backup daily (at 2am by default, can't change), but over wifi only.
