Android phone for dedicated screen mirroring?

Hi guys,

Just curious, does anybody here use an android phone for screen mirroring? I am a cord cutter, so I have to rely on apps on phone to screencast on TV. I am worried if doing it for my main phone will overheat it and spoil it faster, so should I consider is a cheap phone like Redmi 4A or something and keep it exclusively for screencasting?

den how long is your usage for such purpose?

if its like a short 30min shouldn't have any heat. 1hr can feel. more than rhat maybe drain the battery fast.
