I know that for apple Iphone user. They are able to add suica card as the contactless payment on the metro and subway train. But for Android phone user like me. I am unable to do it .

When I was in Tokyo in Jan 2025. I didn't notice there was a "tap and pay" feature on the train gate. So I had to keep on topping up my old iccoca card and required money note and coins .

This time around. When I was in Fukuoka..I observed carefully and I noticed all subway trains has "tap and pay" gate and I am able to pay all my train fare thru my youtrip credit card. It is so convenient now. Beside that . Even the trams at Nagasaki also allowed master / visa credit card . I will be going Osaka so I expected it should be the same .

On a side note. As I always buy lottery even when I travelling. The lottery booth in Japan also allowed visa / master credit card payment . If u Google search. The answer is we got is No..that is incorrect. Actually We can!
