Hi Xiaofan, previously you have mentioned there is an Usb hub together with an Rj45 port that works well with Mibox, may I know what the brand/model or where can I buy please? Thank you

I do not recommend no-brand boxes any more now that official TV boxes like Mi Box S Gen 2 are really affodable.

For example, last time official Tanix TV boxes were okay compared to those no-brand ones (even though also not very good, if compared to Xiaomi, Mecool, Minix, Ugoos and Beelink). But later the quality control does not seem to be good -- so that I can not recommend them any more. And even from their Geekbuying.com link I can see they have a mix of boxes with or without Tanix logo. Last time they mentioned OEM product was without logo but they would recommended official ones with Tanix logo.

FYI, my old Tanix TX5 OEM model is still working but TX6 was dead just after one year.

Minix and Beelink are more focused in mini PC now, they may have very limited offerings for niche use case. Ugoos is another one with better names out there. Unless you are into gaming on TV boxes, I would not recommend buying boxes like Beelink GT-King WiFi 6 DVB (expensive), Minix NEO U22 X3 and NEO U22 X3 MAX, Ugoos AM6, etc.

If you are serious into Android gaming on TV boxes, get Nvidia Shield TV Pro.

What's the difference between xiaomi box vs Ubox(unblock)?

Ubox -- pirated illegal box with illegal live TV app and VOD app, expensive.

Mi Box S Gen 2 -- official Android TV OS device (Google TV platform). No built-in live TV app. It supports official apps like Netflix, Starhub TV+, Singtel Cast, TVB Anywhere+, etc. You can also sideload apps. High HW quality.

Oic. So Netflix, tvb all need to have seperate paid subscription also right?

Sideload app as in those we find online and load via apk?

For (2), then it's almost like the Ubox since can sideload

It is a bit different as you need to find the apps by yourself. For example, it is not possible to load the live TV and VOD app from Ubox as they are locked to Ubox. But take note the live TV and VOD app from Ubox are illegal as per local laws.
