He's the VERY LAST person amongst the MIW who should be talking about this. There's a certain irony in hearing the career imperial jester talk about "high standards". Especially those that finally ascended due to having been parachuted in after a repeated string of failures.

Every Singaporean expects the same standard of opposition and PAP.

Until now, PAP got TCJ saga, WP got Nicole Seah saga, both dismissed from party. Nobody argue say Nicole seah shouldn't be dismissed.

Raeesah Khan saga, nobody said she should be pardoned.

Corruption issue, PAP got Iswaran who got dismissed, but while under investigation he continued to have a salary while being suspended from official duties. Not sure WP would have such privileges if this was to happen. I only know if normal civil servants under investigation of criminal charges confirm no salary while being suspended.

PAP is a bigger party with more resources compared to opposition plus PAP routinely refuses to give information asked for and required by opposition

So what High standards he want?
