Hi all
I was diagnosed with angina few days back when i got severe chest pain and was hospitalised. Just wondering if there are anyone here in the same situation? Looking forward to insights from people here. Thanks

so what was the cause of angina?

is it because of arteries' blockage?

did you over-exerting yourself to trigger the chest pain?

Hi, probably due to smoking. Angiogram shows no blockage luckily, but signs of it are there.

Good nutrition and active lifestyle (under doctors supervision) won't hurt

My doctor recommend these things to prevent:

stop smoking.
control high blood pressure.
reduce your cholesterol level.
be physically active.
achieve and maintain a healthy weight.
control your blood glucose if you have diabetes.
eat a healthy, balanced diet and only drink moderate amounts of alcohol.

Yup, same here. So far smoking is the most difficult to handle for me. Alcohol not an issue to me as I don't drink at all

You can try nicotine patches to help with stop smoking
:)

Tried last time, but not much of a use for me. Could be just me. So far, cold turkey works best. Thanks for the suggestion tho, appreciate it.

Mayb you can considering some good supplement that can help to improve and minimize the blockage of blood veins. Its act as a protection to prevent reoccurring or any others issue happen.😊

Yup, now eating healthier tho i won't say very healthy. But compared to my eating habits previously, i would say it's definitely an improvement.
