yah, been to Tokyo Anime Fair a few years ago.
din know they renamed it to AnimeJapan
I want to go also. Just nice it's happening when I'm there. But does anybody have any idea if I can buy the tickets on that day itself cause the ticketing is all in Jap.
I have some qns!
Was there a super long queue to get into the convention hall? Must tickets be purchased in advance or it could be purchase at that venue?
bought tickets from lawson. not sure whether they got sell at venue. can probably check their website
just dun go in the morning on the first day. queue is crazy coz ppl are there for limited edition merchandises.
i went in the morning and queued for 2+hrs. the queue was so long that the end of the queue was about 2 stations away, from Tokyo Big Sight almost all the way to Megaweb. no queue at all when i left around noon

yes it is the same. look so quiet, was it the 2nd day?Not sure if it's the same fair, but here's the one I went last year in March.
Go Away, Sam...: Japan (Mar 2013): Day 10 Anime Fest + Hama Rikyu (Part 1)
but still niceTickets can be bought at the door for 1500 yen or in advance from 7-11 convenience stores and a few other selected ticket agents. The fair is open from 9:00 to 17:00 (entrance until 16:30).

Assuming that if i were to skip Odaiba right after Tsukiji and I'll only spend a couple of hours there (till about 1pm?), is it possible to squeeze Akiba > Ueno > Asasuka into that day?
Btw, thanks for all the replies guys!![]()
