Another friend, another computer (recommend parts)

Hi guys. This will be the third computer I am assembling which will be for my friend. I say assembling but more like having the store assemble for us.....but still, I would like to think I am helping XD

Purpose: playing league for now but will move on to more graphic intense game once A level(smart people woes) ends.

Needs a screen and the pc (OS too) itself. Kb and mouse not required.

Screen requirements: 1080p, bigger screen is better but provided its not too expensive. If it looks sexy(thin bezel) it will be a added bonus. IPS is very much preferred.

Don't plan to overclock so will be saving a little money on cpu and mobo.

Most importantly, budget to be kept at 1k. If impossible then max 1.1k~1.2k.

Some thoughts from noob little me:

Probably an i5 4460 with h97 chipset (personal dislike of the lowest end one, forgot the name ._.)

gtx960?

Casing with side windows looks sexy hmmm...

No preferred color scheme but must not look like Frankenstein

Edit: oh and getting real soon so parts all from SLS please. OS might be getting from reddit unless there's like really to much money to spare then get the legit one.

Edit no.2: just read through another post similar to mine. Seems like budget not enuf. Lets say I give him my extra 8gb ram for free will it be enough?

Oh and if can post 2 different builds, one geared towards 960 performance another one 970 performance(maybe if I persuade him hard enough he will put more money in it). I say performance cus I don't think he minds between red or green team

TBH if you are tight on budget, my suggestion would be go H81 for the board instead. And push for a GTX970.
