another iPhone 4 on iOS 7 problem

I managed to upgrade to iOS7 from iOS6.

BUT- the problem is, every few seconds, the installation progress screen (the screen that has Apple logo with progress bar at the bottom) appears. I do not have the screen captured but hope that you all can envision it.

I have done several restore but remain the same. That said, my iPhone is useless now!!

any help?

upgrade completed. pass the initial setup screen. when the iPhone gets to the "> slide to unlock" screen, this happened.

worst was, I'm not able to downgrade to iOS6.x.x anymore.

I have re-download the iOS7 ipsw, will go into DFU mode and do a fresh install when I get home from work later.

meantime, is there any other workaround that I can get this fixed? this is the wifey iPhone, kena bombarded like mad!!

btw, my iPhone 5 upgraded flawlessly though.

tried the DFU restore several times last night BUT same error.

downloaded a new copy of the iOS7 ipsw, and will try it again later.

i do not have a screen captured of it with me now..

perhaps doing a restore instead of an update from ios 6 will speed things up...

restored the iPhone 4 via newly downloaded iOS7...solved the problem BUT I guess my backup in iTunes somehow was the problematic backup that had the same error...

trying to restore to the backup before the initial upgrading...let's see whether it works or not..
