Which day did it appear on?

Can't seem to find anything about it in the news.

I don't think putting the rank and stuff automatically translates into death due to service, can be he's still a NSF but passed away due to non service related reasons.

Maybe not related to duty? Accident or health issues?

Second that. I think in this day and age with the prevalent of social media, I don't think they can in anyway suppress information of death due to duty. Also it would be a damn bad idea for SCDF to take out an orbituary to express their condolences if that's their intention.

He was my friend. I can only say he passed away is not on a duty related stuff but rather accident. The only reason I think why SCDF put it on newspaper was because he was pretty damn good and well-liked among everyone during his ROTA CC. There was a minute of silence at CDA camp.
