HELP needed!!!

Hi all,

need some advice on upgrading. :s22::s22::s22:

currently have these;

asus p7p55le
i3 530 29.3
8gb ram
sapphire hd7950 vapor x 3gb
asus sonar sound card
ocz 600w psu
256ssd hdd (booting and some data)
multiple normal hdd (data and random stuff)
dvd rom

want to upgrade to play GTA V, fifa15, similar games.

would i still be able to find a cpu/chip to upgrade to?
would that be enough?

or would a mobo + chip + ram upgrade be more worth it?

thanks everyone!!!

Save your money go for skylake. More noticeable platform upgrades like usb 3.1, m2 slots and pcie 3.0

Your system still can survive just wait a little longer than do a major upgrade depend on your budget too... wait for new chip set 6 generation aka skylake...

i tried playing gta v yesterday and it lags quite a bit, (normal settings, in 1024 x 768).

hoping to get a quick fix for now, before i do a major upgrade next year (hopefully).

would a i7 870 or something similar help (LGA1156)? and also am i able to only swap out the cpu and hsf, to make it to work?

if possible might do that for now, also want to check if it is still possible to find LGA1156 cpu brand new at sls?

is it difficult to swap out the cpu? i'm ok with working on adding and swapping out of parts, but never did a cpu change before, is there also anything that i would need to do in the bios or is it like adding/ changing RAM (plug and play, almost).

sorry for so many questions, thanks for reading/replying.

LGA1156? Now want find Ivy Bridge brand new also difficult :s13:

Skylake might be expensive when it is released, not sure will have production issues as well. If you want a quick fix maybe get a i3/i5 Haswell for now?
