Hi guys, I'm planning to get a PC tomorrow. Budget <$1600 including a monitor. Would like to try playing Overwatch . I've never built a PC myself before and would like to try out .Planning to get my parts from TradePac. Any recommendations on the parts itself?

i am sorry to burst your bubble but take some more time to decide what u need. and tradepac is not recommended for first time builders. \

other than overwatch, what kind of games do u play?
i might want to push u to buy some parts tonight (qoo10 sale) to maximize your buck.

and wifi? space needed?
what other accessories u need other than monitor?

lastly, are u going to build urself?

Hi , I don't play any games actually. Just that the recent hype of overwatch, so just want to try. Currently using an imac for coding purposes so, quite impossible to play haha.
No need wifi , will be using ethernet. Space is not an issue. I only need a monitor . Have a keyboard and mouse already.

Yup , I'll be building myself. Most likely watch the videos while doing it.

Hi if we have the parts we want in mind, is it still not recommended to go to tradepac? Their prices are kind of the most competitive.
Will they psycho me to buy other parts ah? Thanks!

ok errm.... tradepac mobo+cpu pricing only applies if u buy your whole rig from them u see. u have to drive a really hard bargain for them to sell u at the list price if u just want those alone.

next is they always try to tell u some parts no stock and ask u to consider other parts. BY NO MEANS SHOULD U TAKE THEIR ADVICE. this is the annoying part. so if u want to go tradepac, be sure to do your homework. go in fast, get out fast too.

Hi how about something like this?

i5 7500 gigabyte b250m-d3h
kingston hyperx ddr4 2400mhz 16gb kit
asus gtx 1050ti expedition 4gb
samsung 850 evo 250gb ssd
wd 1tb blue
asus 24x dvd rw
evga g2 supernova gold 550w
coolermaster n200 case
.

Monitor I'll probably be getting a 23-24 inch. Doesn't really matter about the specs. Just want a monitor with minimal bezel. Going to have another monitor in future for work purposes.

Workable. But.. u have a terrible gpu. The gtx 1050ti is a very budget gpu.

if you are looking at more savings, not in a rush and are saavy with qoo10 or lazada, i'd recommend buying your parts in a modular way

will be able to make use of the coupons for some items and make tremendous savings along the way

consider 1060 at least for overwatch. most recommends zotac or palit for their warranty sell point

mobo will not support 2400mhz kit. it will only run at 2133mhz. if u want the ram badly, change your mobo to the b250 or h270 series.

u are missing a psu there btw.

lastly, u dun seem to even care about budget. instead u just paste parts here and there with no concern for how much they actually cost to fit into your budget.
