Getting a rig to share with brother

MSI b85m g43 gaming + I5-4570
MSI R9 280x (is this better than asus280x?)
Corsair carbide 540
Avexir ram 2x4gb red led
64 gb ssd for os only (i have another hdd and ssd for games and storage)
Psu any recommendation? Stability most important, i really dont want to face any rma situation if possible.

No need monitor, OS, keyboard or mouse.
What's the estimated price if i we're to get from pcthemes? Will it be better if i get from tp?

Get the new Seasonic G12 PSUs. 500+W should be sufficient.

Also, while 64GB is just sufficient for your OS + a few programs, you'd want a 120GB for the added space (which for an SSD means more longevity). I got up to 70GB used space in my main rig, without games or misc. data.

You can check mynextcom's online store for a quick look at pricing. TP's pricelist is on the HWZ pricelist page.

TP's cheaper than PC Themes generally, but you have to be firm with your items and guard against their sales tactics. PC Themes doesn't pull any tricks and is considered the safe option for people who prefer a hassle-free quick purchase or good service.

I had a bad experience with seasonic actually. Looking at silver stone, super flower or corsair. For super flower, where to rma if got problem??

Btw I'm using the 64gb ssd purely for OS. Nth else will be inside. Games and other programs will be on either a hdd or another ssd

No point with brand new 60/64GB these days as 120/128GB are just selling for another $20-30 more. And you can have 'double write endurance' with double the NAND cells available.

Super Flower PSU RMA at somewhere in Chai Chee Industrial Estate...

I have no idea what's NAND. Hahaha, I'll read up on it later on.
Sorry ah bro, but do u think u can list down the cost of each part? Just want to double check with the research i did since the price I've been seeing always fluctuates.

go for sunflower psu
SSD more better..there could be some other data that is written in the SSD or u could need more in future.
GPU get MSI will do..ASUS more of a premium brand= pay more

If you go to Tradepac, you could get a 4670K for a few bucks more than 4570.

For PSU get any of the Seasonic ones. I think some store still selling G series 550/650W(Not S12G). S12G is not modular. G series is.

For RAM get something from Kingston. I think the LOVO one should be good.

For mobo, Asrock seems to have better value across all the Haswell chipsets.

i see the bundle, 4570 $384, 4670k is $434 eh.. $50 bucks quite big diff now.
Btw the price they stated on their pricelist is before bargain or the lowest u can get from bargaining??

Bargaining do not really go by every single items. Is the total sum and bargain further.

Not unless you know every single item pricing and tell them each one how much.

Not possible. Manufacturers will never remove their products' selling point unless main vendor (i.e. Intel) forcefully remove it by hard-remove.
