Hi! Would like to know hows your view on the Vishera CPU? Is the performance OK for gaming? I don't expect it to be as fast as i5/i7 but is it decent if OC to 5GHz. Cause I am think of getting the 9590 and oc it to 5GHz.

Thanks.

You would probably need a good cooler to tame it. 9590 is quite power hungry. Although im using the fx6300. Its able to oc decently to a 4.4ghz. Synthetic benchmarks like cinebench and others shows a bit of a downside over the previous gen i5. But in gaming performance, there isnt much.

1) Crap power hungry and locally expensive CPU

2) Good for gaming, poor value for your money

3) It's decent if you OC, provided you like living next to a nuclear reactor

4) Really? That's just :s22::s22::s22:

Yes, using FX8350. No complaints. For FX9590, cooling recommend is a watercooling kit. Plus a good amount of power/watt consumption. FYI. FX9590 is clocked at 4.7Ghz and 5Ghz overdrive.

I'm running a FX-9350 @ 4400GHz, haven't tried to overclock it seriously yet. It's stable and fast enough for me right now, though I have to say I never play any games on it.
