Any fixed deposit recommended for student?

I want to open a account for my saving - fixed deposit

got more than 20 k

intend to keep in the bank for 3 year then withdraw on third year

any bank best interest rate for fixed deposit.

I may increase the money every month

please advise

which bank is good? UOB, OCBC or DBS?

as far as i know, local banks' fixed deposit rates are never better than foreign banks. Check out those foreign banks instead.

Just my humble opinion, if you have a decent mid term horizon, why not diversify into some stock holdings, ETFs etc etc.
I would aim for stocks, options and bond holdings to go for a bit higher returns....

Yeah, absolutely, but three years is a bit too short of a time horizon to be looking at stocks. The dividing line between "looking at stocks" and "looking at bonds and other fixed-interest stuff" is usually about five years.
