TCM takes a longer time to show their beneficial effects so u have to be patient.
In my case, I had pretty bad allergic rhinitis (commonly known as sinus problems in S'pore); had 2 surgeries by the ENT to remove polyps, which didn't solve the problem + loads of anti-histamines.
In the end, I consulted a TCM fr the Parkway Group more than a decade back. The TCM practitioner was a visiting professor fr 1 of the China TCM Universities. Using accupuncture, cupping together with sachets of Chinese herbs, I was cured in about 8 mths & best of all no drugs at all....
Thanks for sharing.
Yes, I do have high tendency for running nose.
Especially if experience sudden change in temp.
Like if go for lunch outside hot, then enter air con in office....sure sneeze....and....sniffling liao.
But still manageable.
Last year my condition still under control.....thru frequent western medicine. But this starting year, it got quite bad.
So, thought of giving TCM a try. But need to find a good one as it is for long term. So I posted here.
If I'm not desperate, I won't even bother.
It is affecting my work too.
I also started going for a short run yesterday. Hope to work my lungs and body a bit.
I hope it helps.
If you do have a good TCM doc to recommend, do post here.
