Just got a GoPro recently, was wondering if there are any GoPro users around for discussion and exchange tips.

Yes I have a Hero 3 Black... i usually shoot timelapse. Using tripod and suction cup mounts mostly....and also this

I do mostly time lapse too, for BJJ and Muay Thai.

It depends on your settings. How many frames you set to capture. Setting at 0.5 or 1 frame per second will get good results. Also depends on your playback speed.

Or you can do some minor video editing.

Though Outdoor Sports Travel have the widest range as they are under Streamcast Asia which is the local distributor for the region.

The new Jaws Flex Clamp mount looks interesting even though it is quite expensive.

I just got my GoPro mounts from ebay. the floaty and the chest harness. so far so good!

Anyway, do you know if GoPro has any tilt shift lens? or any methods to do a tilt shift video like this?

I shot this using the Gopro plus some editing for the tilt shift effect.

Hi can anyone comment on / advise me on the microSD card to be used on Hero 3 Black Edition. From what I read Sandisk Extreme microSD card has some limitation when used with GoPro; i.e. speed throttle? If that is so what microSD card are you guys using?

have you tried going online to check? Some of the prices from US sites are pretty decent.

Sorry to digress and bring up a pretty old thread;

but I am trying to find a Gopro Hero 3 for rent between 26th feb to 3rd march for an overseas trip. Am currently waiting for the rumoured Gopro 4 thus I'm refraining from purchasing a set on my own as yet.

Did a few search online only to find the prices for rental pretty steep; $160 for 5 days rental, wouldn't call it daylight robbery but I could really do so much more with that amount of money..

If anybody here has a Gopro sitting around at home and don't mind loaning it out during the period mentioned above for a fair bit of cash, kindly hit me up on PM. Thanks!
