Could be cos women want to be the one to choose or actually they're also chasing the top guys out of her league. That could be why they say to the common guy that connection takes time. When they have no more other better option, they settle for you after so long and you're thinking she's finally fall for you. Wiser to give a time limit and when you see her reply to you is limited, she's spending more of her time on something or someone else
