Xmd there is a home stay call jogging bear. There's different theme on every room. Stay there on my last trip. To me is quite comfortable and the owner is very friendly as well. U just need transfer 50% of the lodging amount and the remaining 50% u pay when u reach. Can contact them on Facebook.

If interested need to contact them fast. Cause tried to book for my feb trip and is all fully book.

we stayed at go sleep, diary of taipei, ecfa, itrip before.

Had stayed in Hope Hotel before, near to train station, MRT and bus terminal. Only need to fill in form with credit card info, 2 wks prior to arrival, they will charge your 1 nite as deposit.

yes, very clean. For me, most import is the toilet and bed. Owner very friendly. u just need to send email and tell them when you intend to stay then they will advise everything via email. closer to the date they will also remind you and tell you what to do when u reach there. Can whatsapp them.

depends on the time u reach because there is no reception, the owner will come around 11am. stay 5 days, everyday got nt100 discount. the place got many things to eat, the owner will show u around the area.

I was there in Sept. I reached around 8.30am. The owner left the main door security disc in the letter box and inform me the pin code. I used that to open the main door and got my room key inside the room. the wifi there got no password so u can whatsapp them anytime.

Most of the banks are there, no problem changing cash or withdraw from ATM. the nearest night market is Raohe. Walking distance to Guang Hwa IT mall. There is direct coach transfer, Evergreen bus from airport nt125 every 20min to 30mins.

Reason being, the next day morning I will be taking HSR to Taichung.
Would appreciate location near Taipei main station..

staying for just 1 night? if so, beside xin guang shopping mall, the building got many small hotel(some no website) u can walk in n ask for price

yes. I stay there before at hope hotel...but hor during my stay there, I got see bangala and pinoy come to the hotel and ask if got room (for rest). The reception jitao say full house
