Any printer expert here?

Hi ,

my inkjet printer head just give way after 2 years. was thinking of buying a new printer, what printer cartridge come with printer head? so I don't have to worry about changing the whole printer due to printer head wear off.

or is it better to go with laser printer? will laser printer face the similar printer head issues ?

I am mainly printing document .

so my main concern is , which inkjet / laser printer cartridge or toner come with printer head itself?

don't think there's such a thing, usually printhead is stuck inside...
doubt you can buy printheads separately...

Did some checking....this picture illustrates what he meant.

off hand, I can think of HP and Lexmark cartridges. With print head.

Epson usually only stores the ink.

Cartridges with print head are usually more expensive than those w/o print head.

Laser printer is the way to go. You can just swap out the whole cartridge.

If usually mono, don't bother with inkjet. Laser will give you sharper text and lower cost per page.

Yes, laser printer. Dont need color. Buy brother cheap and good.

Thats why I said get brother. Drum is not expensive to replace. Been using a brother printer for ages.

Fuji xerox printer has 3 years on-site warranty including the drum.
