any recommendation for iphonex repair

hi,

anyone got any good repair shop to recommend for iphonex motherboard?

my phone one morning i wake up suddenly off cannot switch on,

i sent to mister mobile to repair they said motherboard nand ic spoil cant replace can only try repair but unsuccessful,

went to another mister mobile outlet to try also failed.

wondering if theres any chance to save the phone.

was working alright all along, plug in to charge before slping(all the time) but one morning suddenly like this.

they say cant change cuz no parts only can repair, but right now they repair unsuccessful, maybe if they open will have the open mark like this will reject?

cuz my phone also warranty finish think 3 or 4 years le so i didnt consider apple repair, now if i bring back apple still have chance for them to see see look look?

You can certainly try, but the cost may be prohibitive

motherboard issue no point repair. iphoneX old liao, used good condition one is what 400-500? . Might as well get used one where everything is working.

appt to check e phone @ Store is free. they will tell u how much to repair.

Confirm will reject if you went to mister mobile or 3rd party shops to replace. Good luck

if you use iPhone, always go back to Apple. Apple very petty, if they discovered the phone been touch by a third party they will not repair it. But that is hows they work.

Those sounds nothing major compared to motherboard

So is not about how many parts that are working fine. More about which part is material.

Are you using third party charger during the night? Ugreen or? Usb c charger or standard?

You should always go to Applestore if your iPhone cannot power up.

Over there they will try to charge and power up... if cannot blame it on the battery ... make some excuses like battery acting erratic power drain 50% within 20 mins...

For iPhone X series, they will replace the whole set for you ... Applestore won’t bother to open up the set to replace any parts or battery. But make sure your set don’t look like completely bashed up.
For out of warranty.... just pay for the battery cost ... I think $68/- and you get new replacement.
That’s the beauty for owning an Apple product.

I think poster is assuming they wouldn’t verify whether it is battery issue or not.

i went to apple, they couldnt power up, phone was 2017 so warranty over, technician said motherboard issue, $819 for 1-1 swap new iphone x 256gb, i dont think its worth it even though its new, so i walked out. now using a budget samsung phone for the time being.
