Hi All,
Is there any SSD that is suitable to replace the current 250GB in my Acer 5920g ? Booting and shutdown have been slow lately.

Remove the current HDD from Acer 5920g and check the dimension before looking for SSD.

This laptop is not the slim type(old laptop.. 5 y.o.). It has a normal 2.5in SATA hard disk. My question is whether anyone here has upgraded to SSD for this model ? If yes, then what SSD model is better in terms of compatibility. Thanks.

Doesnt matter which you get, as long as dimensions are right. can consider Sandisk extreme or plextor M5S

Thanks for all the tips. Will yank out the old HDD and go SSD shopping. Next is to clone the HDD including the hidden partition.:s22:
