Any tips to get into SCS

Enlisting this coming Nov. Laojiaos out there, any advice on getting into SCS? Eg: wayang, must perform well in ippt/SOC, or get the bochup attitude so ppl will lower their guards against you, be yourself, etc

since we'll probbably never know what's the actual criteria to be selected, here are my guesses.

mostly be yourself but must wayang a little bit, but not too extreme cause if ur peers hate u or commanders don't like you, your peer and commanders appraisal may suffer and it maybe against you.

I think must at least pass IPPT and probably perform reasonably well in SIT test.

I dun think SOC is a criteria or at least not during my time. but if not wrong SCS infantry pro term need to pass to get 3SG.

to get into command school is

1. pass range
2. pass ippt
3. field camp must not fall out half way

this is the real criteria

to see whether u get in anot
1. wayang
2. dont make ur platoon mates hate u
3. luck
4. sit-test just do watever u think is logical and correct

but seriously speaking not worth it to go in

to not get in, do everything opposite

SCS isnt that hard to get it as long as you have abit of wayangness and leadership.

if need to do all these, you are as good as a fake commander. just be yourself, do what you think is right and push yourself to the limits, not too extreme.

Need to get at least silver for ippt, decent score for shooting. Volunteer to take up leadership roles and stuff until the commander and sergeants notice you and best of all, your platoon mates must not hate/dislike you. Sit test also must do decently well.

SCS is SISPEC?

last time, if you are in enhanced batch (whatever they call it), once you pass IPPT its almost confirmed will go in liao, dun have to pass SOC.

but 3SG in unit is like dog, worse than man, let u know first...

SCS actually quite easy to go in one lol
To be honest I feel my performance in BMW quite crappy but somehow made it to SCS (application to sign on as AFE ME4 failed though)

Just be yourself, enjoy training with friends and do your best in training, shouldn't have a problem going SCS

OCS is a different story though
