Hi, for TM Term plans, minimum of 300k sum assured is required hence I won't be able to provide you a quote for that.

Endowment 12-24 there's only AIA smart growth available in the market. for 10-20, you can look at TM Nest Egg or Aviva MyWealth plan. Do let me know if you require more info on the 3 plans

I am interested to see tm and aviva returns. I already got quote for aia. Returns look not bad however i dont have faith in aia to really give such returns at the end of the road

Have u considered Prudential? Pru's Par fund perfomance has been one of the best in recent years (in fact the best in terms of average returns between 2010 to 2013 - there's data to back that up). Let me know if you are interested at lioneltye@gmail.com or u can PM me for contact no.

I have read the recent thread abt pruflexi. Thats why i am rather skeptical of pru. I have asked for an endowment with zero cash return... Wanna see if pru can beat aia.

I am now looking to get aia as my top choice since tm is too ex . Still considering aviva. Currently I have ntuc endowment so dont wan put my $ in one basket

you do realise Pruflexicash protection plus is not a pure endowment plan but an endowment with insurance plan (what TS is looking for) and hence the returns are not comparable at all right?

prulink on the other hand is an ILP for which the returns are based on sub-fund performance which is completely different from endowment plans (returns are based on participating fund performance) - again 2 different things.

it is OK to be unsure yourself but it will be very much appreciated if you could clarify your facts before providing advice to others so as to not mislead them.

Prudential agent spotted. =:p (account registration Feb 2015, posts mostly about insurance)

This is all about track record and ability to deliver on projected returns, and why these Prudential customers are disappointed.

Any insurance company can quote a non-guaranteed return that looks attractive. But it will affect the reputation of the company if they cannot deliver their projected return.

Friend, it doesnt matter whether im a prudential agent or not (in fact im not and I can prove it).

If you're talking about 'track record and ability to deliver on projected returns' (although past performance is not indicative of future performance), you clearly are contradicting yourself aren't you? As I did mention, comparing the average returns over recent years (2010 to 2013), Pru's PARTICPATING fund performance has been one of the best. I'm not fabricating this data you can go look up each individual insurance company's website and see for yourself.

What you don't realise here is why the returns for the individuals in those 2 threads were not as good as you would have liked. For Pruflexicash protection plus, the insurance element comes at a cost, and hence affects the returns. It is NOT a pure endowment/savings plan.

For prulink, it is an ILP, for which returns are based on sub funds selected. Performance of sub funds are completely separate from that of pru's participating fund.

If you need further clarification and don't trust me, you can go and talk to someone you trust who is in-the-know and you'll realise what i'm talking about.
