Any transport leaders here?

Hi,

My vocation is DVR and have just started being a trainee. I heard to be a transport leader, the vocation should be Transport Supervisor to be eligible. However, my trainer warrant officer have been talking about what leader course blah blah blah, saying that we got chance to be one.

Any Transport leader had been a driver vocation and promoted to be a leader? Or my trainer is just talking the wrong thing?

to be transport leader, you need to at least go to bslc

u will go thru combine arms, that is all..... then during parade, ur papa mama will wear ur wear for u.... that is abt it.. chiu east north wet?

during my time no need BSLC. Possible to send any CPL-to-be for the course. And the superior may also push for a local rank promo to 3SG, though rarely.

But thats in the past... now i dont know

for now is must go thur bslc .+ other vocation course to become 3sg

except CQ they will promote by time, 6 mth become cpl 9 mth become 3sg

erm.. yes, from what I heard. Those in this vocation would go through the leadership course after their driving course..

try to be as low rank as possible, so that ICT time can siam saikang in ICT

If you have a Dip, you can be sent to Transport Supervisor Course & became a Transport Leader from driver vocation.


If you do not have a Dip, sorry but you just have to wait for your NSman time to be sent to the course.

actually driver IC is like **** lah... u account for them... u just look around those drivers(including myself) all sibei slack 1 , bochup... some play mc to escape outfield... no ppl , the driver IC or transport sup need to outfield as a driver...

so is all ****

Are you asking us if you can attend transport supervisor course as a driver to become a transport leader?

If yes, why are you telling me...

Transport Supervisor (old name for transport supervisor vocation) is equal to Transport Leader(new name for transport supervisor vocation) .

Just for your information that ammo tech is a spec vocation unlike storeman/ driver/etc.

but I think, if u could *Hint* your MTO or MTWO to recommend, it is possible

Last time mostly unit do not sent their Dvr to Trp Supvr Cse because 'lack' of manpower unless the Dvr have a very good relationship with MTO/MT SGT.
