I am. What do you want to know?
Hi, can share why you choose Kristal over other platforms and how are your returns so far?
So its like posb invest saver whereby u can choose es3 or iwda to buy? But u cannot decide the price to buy or sell at?0 buying/selling commissions up to US$50,000. FX fees only 5bp.
I don't invest in their customized funds (called Kristals). I use it to buy IWDA and ES3.

Interesting. Iwda is not listed in their products page. How abt SGX ES3? Do they allow purchase for that too? Any min investment for that too? They allow purchase iwda?
The last time I check they can't buy iwda..
Edit: download the app and manage to find iwda however the minimum invest is usd2000.
Are there any holding/custodian fees?
So that's essentially a 0.3% custodian fee meaning any portfolio above $40K in aum would be better off in IB.Interesting. Iwda is not listed in their products page. How abt SGX ES3? Do they allow purchase for that too? Any min investment for that too?
With regars to fees. Anything more than 50k usd aum will be charged 0.3%

FSMOne is probably the best for local ETFs now (unless you are RSPing exactly $100/month in which case POSB IB wins). Unfortunately for global equities FSMOne only provides US ETFs whereas we want Irish ETFs.
Usually we recommend IBKR or SCB for global ETFs, but kristal.ai looks like a good alternative, according to our one member who who has used it extensively. We could use more people trying it out.
@cassowary18 Interested in writing a guide?
I see, meaning US ETFs dividends will be subjected to the 30% tax if bought thru FSMone?

And that's the current price for a board lot of ES3.
Why number not in round figures de? LoL. So technically the minimum for ES3 is a 100 units or 1 lot purchase?
I'll think about it. I'm actually not a huge fan of it right now and thinking of switching over to IB when it launches in Singapore (thus allowing SGX access).
Couple of reasons why I don't like it:
- It's really slow. 1-2 working days to process fund transfers, then another 1-2 working days to process an order. In a world where transactions from funding to purchase can be completed within a matter of minutes, this isn't great.
- Minimum investment amount for some ETFs, like IWDA, are prohibitively high for a DCA strategy.
- Limited selection of ETFs. You've got your basic building blocks to make your standard 3-fund portfolio (with ES3, IWDA and A35) but nothing more than that (like EIMI, MBH, etc.)

Don't forget IB's $10 per month minimum fee under USD 100K. By my calculations, the crossover point would be USD 90K. But then again, you may value IB's other

Can you set the buy price? In recent days the price is volatile so if we purchase at the price stated in the website won't it incur a loss?
No you can't. That's another minus for me
