they still assign you one on the backend.

I got that when i did at ntuc income way back in 2009. the person who sell me at the counter quit and it went back to another agent I specifically didn't want to have. so had to sign a transfer form and they went to another agent. it was a crit illness insurance

They will assign you another agent...

You only terminate your policy...when you apply for new one, they will assign another agent to you...even if you apply over the counter or online.

Don't waste your time... Who goes to counter to buy insurance nowadays?

You cannot terminate your agent. But you can request switching, but again switching to another does not mean you have a a better service. Most insurance need an agent, but some policies like term, accident and travel can do over online.

if you are with GE, you can submit form to change financial advisor to another random guy.
I did that last year when that agent stop replying to me.

The insurance company will still assign to someone but you can choose to never meet the agent.
