Either 8.30am - 11.30am or 12pm - 3pm per semester. Eg: If your 1st semester is morning session, 2nd semester will be in the noon session, 3rd semester back in morning session, vice versa. :D

Anyone know what does DMSAF means and what are the activities planned for orientation?

The first day of orientation is from 9am-1pm so I guess what we'll do the first day is just attend some briefing and tour around the school?

The second day of orientation starts from 8am to 5pm so this should be a bonding day with the new friends? Am I right to say that?

1. DMSAF iirc means part time?
2. Yes, briefing.
3. I didn't went for this but I guess you're right.

Will I be missing out on a lot if I give the second day of orientation a miss?

Hmmm some people would use this day to know their classmates or even form a group before school starts. Cause you all need to form a group by the second lesson. But for me, the second day of orientation isn't important as there'll be around 80-90 students in your class. Sure got people with no group/need more people.

True! Will we be changing classes often? Is there a heavy load of homework to be done everyday? How are presentations like? Sorry for bombarding you with questions >< I will still be working part time when school starts so I want to have a better idea as to what it is like, so I can better manage my time well.. Plus I guess I am a introvert. ><

1. It will be the same people in your class daily
2. Not much homework, probably some questions to do only
3. Not every modules got presentation. For my batch, there's a presentation for sem2 & sem5.
4. Each lesson = new topic. Will be quite busy IF you got free-riders during projects. Other than that... study a bit everyday will be okay. :)

5. I'm also introvert. Just find a good group and join them for projects, score well and promote to next sem. Each sem will have lesser people as you "move up". Cause people will be failing and retaking mod :s13:

I see. I'm really nervous for my first day of orientation! I won't be attending the second day so I hope I'm able to find a good group. Ahh.. Thank you so much for answering my questions! They say Biz Maths is tough? Will it be extra tough for someone whose maths isn't good to begin with? Just a pass for my O levels..

That's tough >< You are graduating soon? Does SIM Dip follow the GPA system? We are not entitled for travel concession right? ><

Already graduated after knowing my final sem's results during March :) SIM DIP doesn't follow gpa, it's by credits if not wrong. Yes, we are counted as adult fares :(
