Correct. Apple needs to be able to provide the full retail experience through retail stores, not sure if they trust these jokers like epicenter nubox etc

A friend preordered mine, was supposed to ship May 14, it's now shipping tmrw! Question, would we encounter issues if he sent it to me via FedEx? At customs?

You may be charged with GST.

generally, above $400 will tio GST

say $399 = $0
$401 = $401 + $28.07

Fedex, DHL and etc.. will help you pay 1st to clear custom.
then you need to pay them if you want your item.

confirm retailers fighting to bring it in.

its really a got 10 piece, sell 10 piece,
zero inventory holding cost.
