anyone cancelled jetstar flight before?

I'm thinking of cancelling my jetstar flight as I found a cheaper one. Still got 3 months to go.

Can I check if anyone did this before? How much is their cancellation fee? Do you forfeit the whole ticket price?

if u r flying budget airline ...
you cant cancel your trip, unless you have medical reason supported by doctor not to travel ... or valid reasons. else u can just forfeit your ticket, they wont refund you for sure ...

Most likely you won't get back anything. Read fare rules and it will be written there.

I book air asia on the wrong date, they would not allow refund. The max they allow refund is airport tax only but you need to check with them first.

the airline would refund you, if they have rescheduled your flight to another date or more than 4 hours ...

For scoot, last year they have reschuled my flight to more than 4 hours later.
they said they would refund me, or i can change to +/- 7 days flight ...

For airasia, they have changed their pattaya flight schedule...
hence my travel dates have been changed to another day .
they finally refunded me after 2+ month ...
very troublesome though ...

Yup, is their fault for both instances haha ...
I flew 10+ each yr by budget airline ... already know their rules in and out ...
they wrong, they pay u. u wrong ... too bad ...
