Have you tried using wet wipes or a moist cloth yet?

It looks like the regulatory wordings are producing this problem. I don't think a simple wipe would solve the problem.. Best to call up apple for them to acknowledge that it's their problem, AASP would most likely take it as cosmetic and user damage and deny warranty

it doesnt feel like a scratch or what.. it feels more like... lak sek.. ( hokkien term for colour coming off ) sorta damage.. and its kinda annoying as i use a case to protect it and this still happens...

Having the same issue. Almost certain it's the same kind of discoloration. Tried cloth, alcohol, water. Can't remove.

don't waste you time on numbers. i've called up apple hotline & even though their end escalate..still to no avail. the hotline representative mention they can't do anything and advice me to go down to aasp. i told him when you can't solve this issue what makes you think they can solve. LLPL. just have to live with it.

updated. went down to plaza sing and as usual. not entertained by the repair center. called up apple on the spot. and send them photos of my issue.

and they did an exception for my case and i got it RMA on the same day itself.
