Ok, I shall go Hiroshima instead.

And yes, I heard of Miyajima island and intend to visit there when I'm in Osaka but I guess it's worth to stay for a couple of days.

Pardon my ignorance but izzit safe? I mean the atomic bomb radiation thingy? đź‘€

Ofc it's safe lol

I highly recommend stay at GRANVIA hotel in Hiroshima. It's 2 mins walk to the shinkansen / main station. It's also next to EKIE dining and a mall.

Yea Hiroshima is a better choice than Okayama, I feel there's nothing much there.

Oh yes, Granvia is always close to the main station, just like Granvia Osaka... I only stay there whenever I visit Osaka.

Oh ya there's two Granvia Hiroshima, the new and old one. I stay at the old one. It's literally at the station itself. Like really you exit the shinkansen, pass by the Pokemon centre and then reach the connector all less than a minute, it's like the perfect base spot if you want to explore the region with the regional pass.

For Osaka i prefer to stay Dotonbori area. There's a direct train not much ppl that goes straight to the airport for less than $5. For other cities, always at Granvia.
