That's true, China is a no go, Taiwan probably too.

I am considering Japan since hotels are cheap during winter period. Was trying to redeem Business class tickets to Hiroshima and Kyoto but it seems certain sectors have no more tickets. Need to re-plan again, may just visit one city....

Taiwan still ok. A friend went 2 years ago during the CNY. Just avoid the first day. Same for South Korea.
