Thinking of opening one to buy Amundi Prime with SRS. Which a/c should I open? One has link to cdp, the other no. And must I go to their office or can do online?

Custodian account is cheaper iirc. But now new accounts have a mandatory minimum holding or they will charge fall below fees. Been quite a while since I used them. Also their sales charge on unit trust isn't particularly great. Esp ur amundi prime sales charge is 4.5%

I think HSBC has a sales charge promo of 0.86% discount so do check that out too.

Thks, but promo means it's just for a period of time at this rate, later will revert to normal right? HSBC got Amundi Prime? Not many platform has. I have trading a/c with scb but they don't have Amundi Prime.

i open my account like 10 years ago... used it a while then stopped for a long time.. recently started using it again because of the amundi UT..

Which brokerage good for SRS? DBS vickers charges 0.18% but got minimum commission of $27

Their prefunded ac has good rates but u need to put $ and its not in ur cdp its in their cdp , you have your lot in their app/ online portal

the other ac where you have holdings in ur own cdp ac is not so commission rate competitive but you get to see them on ur own name. Take which that you can handle

I went office to open takes a few minutes. Online I opened the prefunded one as well takes few minutes. Just call them and ask?

I am using, that time I park money inside get MML interest very song. Then as soon as market crash I can use the fund immediately to buy the dip, very convenient. Also poems got physical outlet near my house so I feel safe everytime I walk by and it doesn't close.

Poems has cash plus and cash management Accounts, they are different. Need to apply separately. Cash plus is custidian Account, less trading fees but shares are held by poems. Cash Management Account is linked to CDP, your shares are in CDP.
But for SRS investment, use Cash plus Account, since the share is held by a Bank in which SRS Account is opened.
