antibacterial is just a marketing gimmick and many ppl fall for it. Bacteria aren’t bad, unless you have an open wound. Bacteria actually protect you from a lot of things, you have bacteria on your body but also in your body, without bacteria we wouldn’t survive. Anti bacterial soaps are also irritating and drying to your skin.

A doctor from national skin center advised my dad don't use dettol body wash. Think either they make the skin drier or these anti-bacterial soaps/body wash are actually not good for our skins.
Only use anti bacterial if you actually do dirty stuff like soccer, outfield, etc

I’ve been using it for a number of years and recently realised that it’s banned in the US cos it’s deemed to be harmful to the skin. How ah? Should I change my body wash? I always thought Life Buoy was a better alternative to Dettol.

ya... i use lifebuoy ..i find my skin gets very dry.

so i always use kirei or dettol (those avocado or moisturising type)
