Use D15s. Save yourself the trouble with AIO if you don't wish to face it.

Unless doing custom loop,

Aircon > Aircooling > AIO

I'm using FD S24 on 2700X with FD Meshify C Casing.
Noise level is very low not that noticeable during low-med load.
During low-med load the temp fluctuate between 35-43 celsius.
CPU-Z Stress test about 63-64 celsius for 5min test.
Prime95 Small FFT Test is about 69 celsius for 5min test.
All these are done in the afternoon in non-aircon room.

Edit: CPU is stock. No OC.

My second choice will be the D15s air cooler if that is issues on the AIO, its for 2700x cpu.

If you go for look , AIO is the way to go ( or custom loop if you have budget)

If you go for pure performance, go for D15s. That's simple

For me, I'd never put that big thick ugly "burger" into my rig again, no matter how good it is .

Actually for me AIO is for very easy mode installation that why i choose it if the noise/pump durability/silent level good, whereas D15s i still not sure will it fit into a 690ii advanced case without blocking the case window.
Yea the web mention its cap cooler height is 177mm but still worry it wont.
Another thing is this fractal design cooler is still very new, which i hardly read any user using in the web also.
