Anyone is also using the StarHub UltraSpeed (10Gbps)? I am so frustrated. (Solved by upgrading ONR firmware.)

Brilliant ... missed this setting .... was cracking my head and didn't quite understand what you were doing in the earlier post .... mistook the port binding step for this!
How you get your onr password?

After binding u need to setup port mirror. This was pre-setup by starhub, but for some reason it will disappear once u power cycle.

Troubleshooting > troubleshooting counters:
Source port: WAN
Destination port: LAN4 (whichever goes to your router)
Direction: Downstream
Status: Enable
Then click save.

You will see a new record added below.

Once this is done, your router will get a WAN IP from starhub.
If you are using non-SG router, u may have to manually set the WAN DNS to google or cloudflare else it may detect as no internet even if you get an IP.

I can't find anyway to commit this change to the nokia ONR. so just remember to do this everytime you power cycle.
Did this and got an IP ... however my speed is super slow... what's your experience. I get 7k+ if I set back to router mode.

still need to do the port binding.

so u need to bind WAN to LAN4, as well as port mirror from WAN to LAN4

try to do the binding + mirror. Im not sure whats my max, but it definitely maxed out my 2.5g network. all my 2.5g devices running at 2.3-2.4 up and down.

initially my speed was slow as well, but i realised the optical cable was coiled too tightly. once i loosen it up, i maxed my network

He did not have any laptop and just use a mobile phone.
you have 3 options
1. accept that you can only do double nat
2. call starhub and demand for the superadmin password
3. call starhub and request for another hub trooper to do the setup again, then try the take picture once more

hey guys, not sure why but im still kinda sitting on the fence on the $88.77. i have the form completed and signed right infront of me but dont know why still hesitant to send across.

do you guys mind weighing in here?
i mean 88.77 for internet, ent+, sport+, epl, asian+, viu, netflix, disney, blackbox is literally a no brainer right? after 24 months its 88.77 for internet, ent+, sport+, epl, asian+, viu and add 15 for blackbox or 6 for whitebox.

the only downside is the ONR which i'll have to pick my battle with the tropper and hopefully i come out on the other side.

but other than that, there should be anything stopping me from?

Do you really need so many contents?

If need and you want to take the risks on the Nokia ONR, just go ahead.

If not MR 10Gbps may be a better deal.

starhub's value add is the entertaiment bundle imo. there isn't much push to 10Gig otherwise for the regular folks

i definitely need the epl which means a definitely $25 spent. assuming i go m1 500mbps for $30, then add $25 for epl thats a definite cost of $55. so its like paying $32 for the remaining content (which in actual reality, is a damn sick value). but because of that, its hard to weigh against 'do you actually need it'....

I will just pay the extra 22 and get the ONT. free black box so essentially just 7 more per month. If don't like the tp link router can sell it for 360 at least, that's already 15 per month

Black box is free for the $88. It is only chargeable after 24 months. So it’s still $22 extra instead of $7
