There’s a revision of property tax computation for 2025 which reduced the amount. It was much higher for 2024.quite surprised your property tax is only 2.5k which is quite low
if it is just pure land the property tax would have been a 5 figure sum. I was charged a 5 figure sum after the expiry of the property tax remission period of 2 years for houses undergoing rebuilt. As IRAS side did not update their AV for my house after my construction was done and obtained TOP, they just charged me based on empty land AV. So I had to write in to raise an objection before they revised the AV subsequently and adjusted the property tax amount.
So for owners planning to rebuilt, die die have to finish in 2 years after house is torn down else be prepared to pay a lot for property tax.
