Anyone on sim only starhub 5G? I’m on sim only 4G but keep getting sms to switch. Lol!

How’s starhub’s 5G coverage?

If base on MyRepublic 5G (who is on StarHub 5G)

Mostly outdoor coverage. Selected malls have 5g indoor coverage.

Wah then no point then. Why pay for 5G when its mostly falling back to 4G due to weak signal? Worse part is it eats into battery life when signal is weak & phone desperately tries to pick up 5G.

the 5G connection not so strong and the download speed meh... almost same as 4G+, so why need to pay them so much and yet connection not stable. Those 5G mainly for cooperate use, for consumer can forget it..

i already moved... singtel 4g plans works better than SH 5G ... 5G speed is fine, it is the switching between 5G >< 4G on starhub sucks .. fyi MYR 5g is the cheapest 5G SA plan at the moment...

Good that you included the "Connections" part of the screenshot. It indicates that the test was done on 5G. ;) A test via Wifi will have the Wifi icon instead.

That said, the wifi signal confuses people. if you have sufficient data, do another clean test to remove all doubt?

Just ported over to SH 5G last week. There's no where my phone showing 5G symbol at my usual lepak area😢😢

Coming from ZYM and using TPG too, both are easily shown 5G services.

Buy SH 4G+ loading is quite smooth and fast tbh

SingTel more geared towards 5G NSA or SA

SH 4G

Simba 4G and 5G both value for money

M1 heavily over subscribed for any network

The only 5G anyone should be paying for is Singtel’s. SH/M1’s 5G coverage is atrocious, and Simba is free so can’t complain.
