=D US Price is quite attractive, i wonder anyone ever shipped from Amazon(they wont deliver to Singapore), Newegg? or Vpost? O_O any procedure? how about the GST when it reach Singapore.
u still have to declare GST+shipping fee+no warranty=worth it to u? if yes then go ahead.
No worry for warranty, as the product already come with 1 year international warranty, the GST is = the item price? or (Item + Shipment) * 1.07 ?
and lastly you purchased before?
need to declare the item price only. IIRC if more than S$400 need to pay GST. i only know ASUS got international warranty not sure about other brand. u calculate loh. see whether is it cheaper than buying in sg. i bought from amazon its much cheaper compared to newegg.
U sheep via vpost is self pwn in the making only. Customs will impound it and make u go down to pay it and collect laptop.
If you sheep via cgw then u pay gst, svc charge and shipping 1 shot and they deliver to your place
With current weak s$ and strong US$. It become not so good now. Also, do not forget about warranty and condition after you receive the pc.

there's 2 part to the power thingy... one is the small-head to adapter, other from adapter to the socket. only the latter need to change to uk 3-pin, right?
my main concern is more about the warranty than anything if i buy from amazon. realised that the HP units there only have local warranty...
For me, and year international warranty will be good enough, after 1 year, we got many service centre here, won't hurt much though.
