How's the real world experience with Face ID and Apple Pay? I most often do my shopping in Fairprice's self checkout counter and using Apple Pay with Touch ID on my IP7+ is a breeze.

No Issues for me... it is fast.

Double-click -> face ID -> tap and go

I honestly prefer the Apple Pay with Touch ID - don't even need to activate anything - just approach the reader with the finger on the home button.

However, with FaceID, you can 'prep' the phone before hand(activate ApplePay with your face) and hold the phone whichever way convenient - so if the Card reader in the shop is in an awkward position - like some 7-11 - it would be easier.

Also - FaceID Apple Pay feels more consistent with the way Apple Watch approach Apple Pay.

I prefer Face ID cos Touch ID may fail if finger oily or what but Face ID already authenticated so faster.

Yes me too, i now prefer Face ID for authentication, as our finger get dirty, wet or oily easily, and i have failure for payment few time due to such issue.
