Anyone Self-Explore in Japan? Experience?

I did solo travel in Japan 1 month in 2016 and about 3 weeks in 2017. it depends on which Airbnb type. solo for Airbnb is doable as long as the room type is alone for yourself.

Solo travelers are probably the best as you have the most options in terms of lodging but I wouldn't recommend Airbnb due to recent rules. I don't think you will save much anyway and may end up paying more due to cleaning fee, service fee, etc.
