Thanks for the head up! Looks like the port in only happens at the sign up time. I was hoping they can do it to my current 88 days free plan.

Can't we go to the service center to cancel one line before doing the port-in?

That is, for those already more than 30 days otherwise will be charged $20?

I will do cancellation and a new line if no one in my family willing to take over my nice number free plan. the number is quite nice until I am willing to give up my current one. But the hassle of updating the whole range of known and unknown contacts and sites are just too troublesome.

The FAQ said transfer of ownership is not possible. They have to sign up a new line.
