I'm heading to US alone in July for a month. Covering 3 cities. New York City, Chicago and San Fran.
Can say US is one of the most expensive countries but then again depends on what you are comfortable with and what are your plans.
Accommodation is already costing more than my flights although I'm staying at mostly Airbnb and hostel.
Then again the reason I'm going to the states is to attend a few music festivals.
Going alone will definitely stretch your budget.
