I recently started playing. My fiancee taught me how to play. She used to play for a while circa 2005.
It only looks kiddy; its actually quite a serious MMORPG. I declined to start playing it with her over the years because I though the graphics were so kiddy and it's not a serious game.
There are some crazies who spend damm lot of money on cash shop.
Selling point is its cuteness mah.
And you get to "cosplay" alot if you are willing to spend money. (Used to buy this Power Ranger themed suit called Mesoranger and called myself Kaederanger. Too bad they removed it...)
And for people like me who gets lost/dizzy easily when playing 3D mmorpgs whereby you can travel around in north, south, east, west, I prefer the simple left-right navigation.
Last time spent alot due to cash items were not permanent. I quite heow one I like my hairstyle and I look weird when I wear certain hats or helmets, so I bought the Mesoranger suit. Another reason was to mask my level range cos kids there liked to bully lower level players back then.
And also pets were essential for auto potion and auto pick ups.
But now different story already. Alot of permanent cash items you can find n Free Market, be it selling for mesoes or real cash.
Now I am equipped with a permanent headband, permanent wings, permanent android heart and a permanent pet.
Basically won't be spending real money anymoe unless they put back the Mesoranger package. Heh.
Or if I need to buy meso sacks
