I took 11 Financial papers at 2014, all passed at first attempt. No education background in econs, was in IT all along.
I would agree M6 is challenging, but if you really studied and know your stuff, it is really not that difficult. M6A is fairly easy compared to M6. Apart from M6, the rest you most likely can pass with first attempt if you spend sometime to study.
All CMFAS papers are easy and elementary for licensing reps. Just need to find the best way to learn it; as for M5, you need to read first and try to understand the rules and regulations instead of memorizing them. Doing some practice papers will certainly help. It's definitely nothing as difficult compared to the rest which can be very technical (e.g. 6A which is the old M7).
