I’m gonna reject the premise of your question; why do you want to trade futures in the first place?

You don’t actually seem to know whether you want to trade equities (ES and NQ), commodities (CL), or rates or FX or all of the other asset classes that you can access via futures. Those are VERY different markets, with their own quirks; futures are just a vehicle to access those, not an asset class in themselves. I guess another way of phrasing this second question is: why do you want to trade futures instead of ETFs?

ES
NQ
Are the one of most efficient products with HFTs punching monstrous moves at night. At night, our Asian bodies are unable to fight them. We have little to no chance

CL
You have some chance if u follow the fundamentals. You could trade calendar spreads / seasonality to reduce outright risk.

ES_F
NQ_F
CL_F
etc

i sleeps early.
i trade forex, comodity (gold, oil) in forex platform before.
i mainly trade options now. but not trading directly ETFs. but do options of ETFs
i trade both direction. i am neutral and flexi on bull and bear. ETF and stocks are always bull
i have no problem with the above
i just explore to futures and check if any brothers and sister trade futures coz i wanna know what is the broker and also to know if any bro and sis use order flow here.

the reason i wanna trade futures is because of flexi timing. just want to add one more instrument in my arsenal. sometimes ETF, options are bound to sleeping time. FX is not my cup of tea.

that's all my question.
thank you

So this is a totally valid answer and makes a heck of a lot of sense. Ditch your CFD broker, switch to futures.

I use Interactive Brokers for everything (cash, futures, etc) and they're totally fine.

Yes, I trade Futures.

Don't really know which is the best broker. I use TradeStation because they have Chart Trading Function in their platform which I like a lot. However, they don't have an office in Singapore. TD Ameritrade has an office in Singapore, but I'm familiar with their platform. You can try them if you like.

I tried Sierra Chart couple of years back, but I don't like their platform because it's difficult to use.

I don't know any group and didn't join any group. It's probability better to develop your own trading strategy and have your own trading style than trying to follows others.

If you are thinking of switching to Futures and dumping your Forex/CFD accounts, I say go ahead.

If you are thinking of trading Futures, Forex and CFD, I say don't bother.

slightly off topic but have you used TWS mobile IOS? I’m getting the Avg Price showing up as Avg Cost Value ( ie Avg price * multiplier). Is thiis a bug? It used to work correctly. Happening on ES and NQ futs.

Wrong forum. I will keep quiet and find other forum to ask. Paiseh

But on the other hand, speculation can also be very rewarding if done right.

Experience and skill counts alot too. :)

Uh, I haven't checked (I don't have any open equity futures posis at the moment), but you might want to file a ticket with IBKR.
