Uses OStree to enforce a read-only root filesystem that is mounted in /var. Everything else in / except /etc are symlinked to /var.
And all software will be delivered only in Flatpaks.
Not sure if I'm willing to relearn all of the Linux filesystem just for a one-distribution-only implementation. I have quite a bunch of hand-written configs scattered around /boot and /usr/bin.
Granted, ostree admin unlock --hotfix might be a workaround to make those changes persistent in the RO root fs, but it looks like a lot of unnecessary hassle.
