Any reviews? They are the ones who employ ex-cons. I know their prices are cheaper than most other movers but anyone used them before?

Yup ! I've used them once to bring a second hand washing machine from someplace back to mine. They also offer to get rid of my old washing machine ! Very professional and no problems.

I didn't know they were cheaper than most though as someone recommended me and I just rang up the next day to make the arrangements.

I think it's good to support them.

Thanks but have you used them for moving house? As in literally packing and moving from A to B?

Am asking as I read deferring reviews. Some said they are very good and professional. Others said they are rather bochap i.e. roughly dump the boxes even those marked fragile.

Moving house, nope.

Hmm.. if moving house and need packing help then it might be better to go look for professional mover and packer. Professional packer need to have gone through some training.

I think helping hands is more of a light mover than a meticulous one. How different are they in cost? If it's not much difference, wouldn't want to take the chance !

I used helping hand to move house in Dec. Their quote exclude GST.

I paid $674 moving items from flat A to flat B and flat B to flat C. The quote included $80 for moving piano from B to C. They used 2 lorries to move my stuff.

Their service is so so but their price is cheap compared to others.

They said they would send boxes but no masking tape provided. LOL!

I don't expect styrofoam and stuff lah I don't think any mover provides that.

Well as long as they are not rough. One review I read said they were quite rough handling boxes and even scratched the guy's floor when they dragged the sofa. :s8:

I think its meaningful to help ex-cons but they should also receive the proper training. Having brawn alone doesn't make one a good mover.
